Job 1 Operations Supervisor
SUMMARY
Day to day running of a busy workshop. Liaise with the Clients and the Operations Manager to ensure all work scopes are completed to the highest level. To deliver a quality and professional end product reflecting on Uniconn’s position in the industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Operations Supervisor (FULL TIME)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Ensure excellent housekeeping standards within workshop, yard and storage areas are maintained;
-
Ability to interpret and understand Procedures and Schematics relating to the position;

Organising and executing, Hydro - Nitrogen testing and fluid analyses;
-
Collating and preparing all certification and documentation for review;
-
Monitor equipment requirements;
-
Conducting stock levels for spares and consumables;
-
Monitor efficiency of workshop personnel;
-
Ensure all test equipment is maintained and serviceable within calibration dates;
-
Ensure correct maintenance of all workshop plant, forklifts etc are carried out;
-
Ensure any training required is identified and records kept up to date;

All processes completed without exception;
Requirements
Essential:
-
Minimum of five years’ experience in a supervisory position in an operational workshop environment in the Oil and Gas Industry. (HNC/HND Engineering Experience)

Understanding schematics and interpreting client procedures and processes;
-
Ensuring all documentation is correct and valid prior to issuing to the workshop;
-
High level of knowledge in the preparation and execution of equipment and assemblies for (Hydro-Nitrogen) testing and fluid analysis;
-
Demonstrating a high level of equipment awareness;
-
Identifying waste from work processes and reducing errors;
-
Flexibility to cope with the diverse requirements of the post;
-
Good time keeping;
-
Working to deadlines, overtime when required;
-
Full UK driving licence;
-
Full UK Passport.
Preferred:
-
Fork Lift operators’ licence;
-
Current offshore certificates UK and International.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
-
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes, document management systems and approved procedures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
