Manual Tongs
Manual Tongs are designed for the make -up and break out of tubing, drill pipe and drill collars. Varying in torque capacity, these tongs cover a range of 2 3/8” to 17” (36” on HT50’s with extended reach). Lug jaw design means that tongs can do varying sizes and hinge jaws increase capacity on certain models.
Tubing Tongs K-25, K-30,K-50,K-50HT & K-70
Kelco tubing tongs cover a varied range of ¾” through 7” and incorporate a wrap-around design with approximately 300 degrees of die contact to minimize pipe damage. Torque ratings vary from 2,000 ft/lbs to 15,000 ft/lbs.
Safety Clamp - Type T
The type T safety clamp is made up of hinged links with each link having a tapered slip and spring loaded die. As the clamp is tightened and load increases against the slip, the taper mounting naturally tightens against the body of the pipe to prevent downward loss. As the gripping of the pipe is uniform, then there should be little or no damage to the outside diameter. The type T is designed for 1” to 4½” OD.
Safety Clamp - Type CR(single screw)
The type CR safety clamp is made up of hinged links with each link having a tapered slip and spring loaded die. As the clamp is tightened and load increases against the slip, the taper mounting naturally tightens against the body of the pipe to prevent downward loss. As the gripping of the pipe is uniform, then there should be little or no damage to the outside diameter. The type CR is designed for 3 3/4” to 10 5/8” OD.

The type CL is designed for 10 ½” to 15 5/8”
Safety Clamp - Type CXL (double screw)
The type CXL is designed for 15 ½” to 21”
Safety Clamp - Type MP-S
The type MP-S is designed for 2 7/8” to 5”
Safety Clamp - Type MPR
The type MPR is designed for 4 ½” to 10 ½”
Safety Clamp - Type MP-M
The type MP-M is designed for 10 ½” to 15 7/8”
Safety Clamp - Type MP-L
The MP-L is designed for 15 7/8” to 19 3/8”
Safety Clamp - Type MP-XL
The MP-XL is designed for 19 3/8” to 30 ½”
